The Eau Claire Curling Club is proud to host the 2026 World Mixed Doubles Playdown Event, October 28 through November 1, where eight of the nation's top mixed doubles teams will compete for the chance to represent Team USA at the 2027 World Mixed Doubles Championship. The field includes Olympic silver medalists Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin, along with several other elite pairs earning their spots through national rankings and a playoff. It's a rare opportunity for our Club and our community to watch world class curling up close, right here on home ice.
